How these are built
Every tool runs client side. Nothing you type reaches a server, so there is no account, no email gate, and nothing to leak. That is a deliberate constraint on a site about military finances, not a technical shortcut.
Each calculator page shows its own arithmetic and what it does not account for, because a dollar figure with no method behind it is not worth much. The savings and refund numbers are simple-interest estimates on a fixed balance; the lease and deadline tools implement the statutory rules directly, and cite the section they follow. Where a figure comes from a statute rather than from you, the statute is named and linked.
None of these tools carries advertising. That is the same rule we apply to our policy pages, and it means nothing on a calculator page is competing with the answer you came for.
