YETI Military Discount: ID.me Pricing, 30% for Now, $10,000 Yearly Cap
Part of: The Complete Guide to the SCRA
YETI has a military discount, but it does not print a fixed percentage for it. Its ID.me page, read on November 4, 2026, said eligible ID.me customers get “now 30% off for a limited time,” followed by “Offer valid while supplies last and subject to end at any time. Exclusions apply.” So 30% is what YETI is offering this week, not a number the program promises. On a $300 Rambler Beverage Tub, 30% is $90 off, or $210, if the item shows the discounted price in your bag.
You get access by verifying with ID.me. Once you are signed in, eligible items show a strike-through price in the bag. Everything below was read on YETI’s own page that day.
What YETI’s own page says
YETI’s terms and FAQ sit on the same page as its offers. These are its rules as printed on November 4, 2026.
| Question | What YETI’s page says |
|---|---|
| Discount | No standing percentage printed. The banner read “now 30% off for a limited time” |
| Who, military | Active duty, inactive reserves, veterans, retirees “and more” |
| Other groups | First responders, nurses, medical providers, teachers, government employees |
| Verification | ID.me; YETI says it “may require yearly reverification” |
| Where | YETI.com, or an official YETI store with your government ID |
| Not eligible | New releases, seasonal colors, limited editions, customization fees |
| Yearly cap | $10,000 of discounted products per calendar year |
| Not covered | Shipping, taxes, fees, past purchases, international orders |
| Stacking | ”May not be combined with certain other promotions” |
Two lines are easy to miss. Online, YETI tells you to verify “on every visit to unlock your discount,” so a saved login alone will not show the price. And an old YETI.com account from its earlier program “will no longer offer you the same discounted pricing.” You need a fresh ID.me link.
Is 30% permanent or temporary
Temporary, on YETI’s own wording. “For a limited time” and “subject to end at any time” are the words of a promotion, and the page names no end date. YETI also reserves the right “to change product eligibility, discount and/or prices at any given time without prior notice.”
Many discount lists print one fixed YETI military percentage as if it were policy. YETI’s page did not on November 4, 2026. If you are reading this after Veterans Day, the rate may be different. The only reliable number is the strike-through price in your bag after you sign in to ID.me.
YETI’s page did not tie the 30% to November 11 or call it a Veterans Day offer. For the offers that do name November 11, 2026, see the Veterans Day 2026 discounts list, where each row was read on the company’s own page.
What the 30% covers this week
The banners on YETI’s ID.me page listed these at 30% Off on November 4, 2026: the Open Country, Upland Birds and Wetlands collections, the Royal Blue and Seafoam colors, the Pace Purple, Grasshopper and Whippersnappers collections, the Ranchero CrossBody, the Palo Active Backpack, the Boomer Dog Bed, the Rambler Flip Chug Bottle, the Rambler Beverage Tub, the YETI Tank 30 Beverage Tub, the Camino Zip and the Rambler 24 oz Mug.
There is a conflict on the same page. YETI’s product grid tagged the Rambler Beverage Tub ($300) and the Rambler 24 oz Mug ($45) as NEW, and YETI’s terms say new releases are “not eligible for discount.” The banner says 30% Off on both. Do not argue it at checkout. Add the item, sign in to ID.me, and buy only if the strike-through price appears.
Here is what the 30% would be worth on items with prices printed on the page that day:
| Item | Price on YETI’s page | At 30% off |
|---|---|---|
| Rambler 24 oz Mug | $45.00 | $31.50 |
| Hopper Flip 12 Soft Cooler | $250.00 | $175.00 |
| Rambler Beverage Tub | $300.00 | $210.00 |
| Roadie 32 Wheeled Cooler | $375.00 | $262.50 |
Only the mug and the beverage tub were named in the 30% banners. The two coolers are shown to size the math, not as a promise that they are included. Check each one in your bag.
The public sale may already beat it
The same page showed a public promotion running beside the ID.me offer: “20% off Ridgeline,” with the Hopper Flip 18 Soft Cooler cut from $300 to $240 and the Rambler 20 oz Tumbler from $35 to $28. Anyone can get that price. YETI says the ID.me discount “may not be combined with certain other promotions,” and the page does not say which. Assume you get the better of the two, not both.
That makes the real value of the military price the gap over whatever sale is already on. At 30% versus 20% on a $300 cooler, that gap is $30, not $90.
Paying for it
Big cooler buys often go on a card and get carried, and that is where a discount disappears. Put a $262.50 cooler on a card at 24% and pay it off in 12 equal monthly payments, and the interest is about $35. That is nearly all of the $37.50 gap between 30% and 20% off on a $375 cooler.
If the card was opened while you were on active duty, the Military Lending Act caps it: under 32 CFR 232.4(b), a creditor “may not impose an MAPR greater than 36 percent” on a covered borrower. That is a ceiling, not a good rate. A card from before active duty can drop to 6% on the balance you owed when service began, under the SCRA. The MLA vs SCRA breakdown sorts out which law covers which card, and the savings calculator prices what the 6% cap is worth on a balance you already carry.
For the same pattern at other retailers, see the Apple military discount, which also runs through ID.me and caps how many devices you buy a year, and the Home Depot military discount, which stops at $400 a year.
Get the YETI military price
- Create or sign in to your ID.me account and pass the military check. YETI says you only create the account once.
- Add the items to your YETI.com bag, open the Verify with ID.me drop-down, and sign in. Do this on every visit.
- Buy only items that show a strike-through price. New releases, seasonal colors and limited editions are excluded even if a banner shows them.
- Compare the strike-through price with any public sale on the same item. Take the lower one; YETI may not stack them.
- Keep your discounted buys under $10,000 for the calendar year, and buy for yourself only.
- In a YETI store, bring your government ID to the register. Pay with cash or a card you will clear, and see the Veterans Day 2026 offers before November 11.

Frequently asked questions
Does YETI have a military discount?
Yes. YETI's ID.me page, read November 4, 2026, lists Military as an eligible group and describes it as active duty, inactive reserves, veterans, retirees and more. You verify with ID.me, then discounted strike-through prices appear on eligible items in your bag. The same program also covers first responders, nurses, medical providers, teachers and government employees. YETI can change, modify or cancel the program at any time, per its own terms.
How much is the YETI military discount?
YETI does not print a standing percentage. Its ID.me page on November 4, 2026 said "now 30% off for a limited time" and "Offer valid while supplies last and subject to end at any time. Exclusions apply." Product banners on the same page repeated 30% Off for collections such as Open Country, Upland Birds and Wetlands and for items such as the Rambler Beverage Tub and Camino Zip. The page gives no end date, so check your cart for the real price before you count on 30%.
Is the YETI military discount on everything?
No. YETI's terms, read November 4, 2026, say new releases, seasonal colors and limited-edition products are not eligible, and its FAQ adds customization fees to that list. Eligible products are based on available inventory and YETI can change eligibility, the discount or prices without notice. The discount does not apply to shipping, taxes, fees or past purchases, and YETI says it may not combine with certain other promotions.
Can I use the YETI military discount in a store?
Yes. YETI's terms say the discount works on YETI.com or in an official YETI retail store. In a store, you show your government ID at checkout to get the discounted price. Online, you sign in to ID.me from the Verify with ID.me drop-down in your bag, and YETI's page says to do that on every visit to unlock the discount. Third-party stores that sell YETI are not covered by these terms.
Is there a limit on how much I can buy with the YETI military discount?
Yes. YETI's terms, read November 4, 2026, allow up to $10,000 of discounted products in a calendar year, and say purchases over that amount may get your orders cancelled and your access suspended. The program is for personal use only: YETI says not to buy for friends or family, prohibits sharing account access, and bans reselling discounted products. YETI also says it may require yearly reverification through ID.me to keep your group status.
Can family members use the YETI military discount?
Not on their own account, as YETI words it. Its terms say the program is "a privilege reserved for personal use only," and ask you to buy for yourself and not for friends or family. YETI's eligibility line for Military says active duty, inactive reserves, veterans, retirees "and more," and links to ID.me for the full list, which YETI does not reproduce on its own page. If a spouse wants the discount, they need to pass ID.me's military check in their own name.
