Mazda Military Discount: $500 That Stacks With Loyalty Cash

Part of: The Complete Guide to the SCRA

Mazda’s military discount is $500, and it is one of the most stackable military offers among the brands this site has read. Mazda’s terms, read October 16, 2026, say the Military Appreciation Bonus Cash “may be combined with public offers, including lease offers, customer cash back, and APR incentives/offers,” and separately with the Mazda Loyalty Reward. If you own a Mazda now, that second line can be worth more than the military money itself.

Mazda prints the military terms inside its regional offer data rather than on a standalone page this site could find, so this page read that data for 20 installation ZIPs. The military cash came back identical at all 20. The loyalty money did not.

Two lines stand out against other automakers. Mazda names the Space Force, which Hyundai, Stellantis and GM leave off their lists. And Mazda lists a Delayed Entry/Enlistment (DEP) form among accepted proof, which points to recruits who have signed but not shipped; confirm that with the dealer before you count on it. The veterans guide covers how federal law treats veterans, which is a different question from Mazda’s list.

Flat military cash, moving loyalty money

The $500 did not change anywhere, and it covered older stock too. Mazda’s data attached it to leftover 2024 and 2025 units still in its feed, such as the 2024 CX-30, CX-5, CX-50, CX-90, Mazda3 and MX-5 Miata, while 2023 models showed no military line. A new, unused 2024 still on the lot qualifies; a 2023 does not. The Mazda Loyalty Reward, which goes to current Mazda customers who show a registration, a Mazda sales contract or a Mazda Financial Services (MFS) agreement, changed by region. Here is what Mazda’s data showed on October 16, 2026 for two 2026 models.

Loyalty on a 2026 CX-5 / CX-90Installation ZIPs where Mazda showed it
$500 / $1,000Norfolk 23511, Quantico 22134, Fort Meade 20755, Eglin 32542, Fort Drum 13602, New London 06340
$750 / $1,500JBER 99505, Schofield Barracks 96857, San Diego 92136, Camp Pendleton 92055, JBLM 98433, Hill 84056, Fort Carson 80913, Fort Campbell 42223, Fort Riley 66442, Fort Jackson 29207, Fort Benning 31905, Fort Bragg 28310
$1,000 / $1,500Fort Hood 76544, Fort Bliss 79916

The public offers moved too. The 2026 CX-90 carried $4,500 in customer cash at Fort Benning’s ZIP and $3,500 at the others, and the 2026 CX-5’s special rate was 1.9% for up to 60 months at Joint Base Lewis-McChord against 0% for up to 36 months at Norfolk, Fort Bragg and Fort Hood. Look up the ZIP where you will actually buy before comparing deals.

A CX-90 owner near Fort Hood, in dollars

Mazda’s lease example for the 2026 CX-90 3.3 Turbo Select uses a $39,300 MSRP plus a $1,645 destination charge, $40,945 in all. The paths below use that full sticker as the price; a negotiated discount lowers every figure. At Fort Hood’s ZIP, Mazda offered a choice: $3,500 in customer cash, or MFS financing at 0% APR over 60 months. Its customer cash “is not combinable with Mazda Financial Services (MFS) Special APR or Lease Programs.” The military $500 and the $1,500 loyalty reward ride on either path.

Cash path. $3,500 customer cash plus $500 military plus $1,500 loyalty is $5,500, or 14% of the $39,300 MSRP, leaving $35,445 to finance with your own lender.

0% path. Military plus loyalty is $2,000, leaving $38,945 at 0%. Mazda prints the payment as $16.67 a month per $1,000, so that is about $649 a month, and the $2,000 alone trims about $33.34 off it.

The two paths cost the same when the outside loan on $35,445 runs about 3.77% for 60 months. A credit union preapproval below that makes the cash path cheaper; anything above it favors the 0%. A Norfolk buyer, with $1,000 loyalty, lands at about 3.72%. Check rates at the military credit unions and run your own numbers in the savings calculator.

MFS loans, leases and orders

Mazda’s disclaimers say the Mazda Financial Services name is licensed to Toyota Motor Credit Corporation (TMCC), and that TMCC services MFS loan and lease accounts. Sign an MFS loan while on active duty and its rate stands. The SCRA’s 6% limit covers only obligations from before you entered service, and the MLA statute, 10 U.S.C. § 987(i)(6), exempts a car loan secured by the car. If your Mazda loan predates your service, the auto loan rate cap guide explains the request.

A lease has an exit a loan lacks. Section 3955 ends a lease you signed in service, without an early termination charge, after orders that PCS you out of the continental United States, PCS orders that move you off Alaska or Hawaii, or a deployment of 180 days or longer, though excess mileage at Mazda’s 15 cents a mile still applies. If you put the military or loyalty money into a lease you might end early, ask MFS in writing how it treats that money; the car lease termination guide covers the rest, and you can model the exit in the lease termination calculator.

Stack the Mazda military and loyalty money

  1. Run Mazda’s offers lookup with your buying ZIP and write down the military cash, the loyalty amount, the customer cash and the APR for your model.
  2. Copy your LES, DEP form or DD-214 and your driver’s license. Family members need a matching address.
  3. If you own a Mazda, bring its current registration, sales contract or MFS agreement to claim the loyalty reward too.
  4. Get a credit union quote and compare the customer cash path with MFS’s special APR, adding the military and loyalty money to both.
  5. Ask the dealer to list military cash and loyalty cash as separate lines, and take delivery by November 2, 2026.
The law behind this: 10 U.S.C. § 987

The MLA, and why it skips a loan that buys the car: read the statute.

Frequently asked questions

What are the Mazda military discount requirements?

Under Mazda's terms, read October 16, 2026, you must be a U.S. resident. The program covers active duty members, reserves, retirees with at least 20 years, disabled veterans, Gold Star family members, and any service member honorably discharged from the Air Force, Army, Navy, Marines, National Guard, Space Force or Coast Guard, regardless of separation date. You give the dealer a copy of a Leave and Earnings Statement, a Delayed Entry or enlistment (DEP) form, or a DD-214, plus a copy of your current driver's license. The limit is two Military Appreciation offers per person per year.

How much is the Mazda military rebate?

It is $500, which Mazda calls Military Appreciation Bonus Cash, toward the purchase or lease of a new and unused 2024, 2025 or 2026 Mazda. Mazda's offer data showed that same $500 at every one of the 20 installation ZIPs read on October 16, 2026, from Naval Station Norfolk to Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson, with an expiration of November 2, 2026. Mazda says it may be combined with public offers, including lease deals, customer cash back and APR offers, so the military money adds to whatever regional deal your ZIP shows.

Can I combine the Mazda military rebate with the Mazda Loyalty Reward?

Yes. Mazda's military terms say customers may combine Military Appreciation Bonus Cash with the Mazda Financial Services Lease Loyalty Reward or the Mazda Loyalty Reward, and the loyalty terms say it combines with one other private offer, naming the Mazda Military program. To claim loyalty you show a current registration, a current Mazda sales contract or an MFS agreement. On October 16, 2026 the loyalty amount on a 2026 CX-90 was $1,500 at ZIPs such as Fort Hood and Fort Bragg and $1,000 at Norfolk and Fort Drum.

Do veterans qualify for the Mazda military discount?

Yes, all honorably discharged veterans do. Mazda's terms, read October 16, 2026, say any service member qualifies with an honorable discharge "regardless of separation date" from the Air Force, Army, Navy, Marines, National Guard, Space Force or Coast Guard. That is broader than Toyota, Honda and Nissan, which cut veterans off at two years or 24 months, and Stellantis, which stops at 12 months. Bring a copy of your DD-214 and your driver's license to the dealer.

Can my spouse or children use the Mazda military discount?

Yes, if they live with you. Mazda's terms, read October 16, 2026, say family including spouse and children are eligible but must live at the same address, and that the offer is transferable within the household only. Gold Star family members are named separately. The documents still come from the service member: a copy of the LES, DEP form or DD-214, plus a current driver's license. Each person is limited to two Military Appreciation offers per year.
